Michael Gebel – co-coordinator of the EXCEPT research project - gave a talk on "The transition from education to work in Central and Eastern Europe" at the Institute for East and Southeast European Studies in Regensburg. He summarised key findings on the role of human capital and social resources in structuring young people's entries into the labour market in Central and Eastern European societies.
