Olena Nizalova, Senior Research Fellow at the University of Kent, has presented the results of joint work with Edward Norton, University of Michigan, and Irina Murtazashvili, Drexel University, at the largest economics conference in the world - Allied Social Science Association (ASSA) Annual Meeting - in Philadelphia, USA. The paper titled "Does Past Unemployment Experience Explain the Transition Happiness Gap" has evolved from the EXCEPT work package on the impact of unemployment on health and wellbeing in later life, and is focusing on Ukraine. The session has been organised by the Association of Comparative Economic Studies.
