Except findings were presented at a 36th International Labour Process Conference in Buenos Aires

On the 22nd of March 2018, Marge Unt, Sonia Bertolini, Valentina Goglio and Dirk Hofäcker participated in symposium titled “Young people between precarious work and social exclusion in Europe: a lost generation?” In the Symposium Marge Unt introduced the EXCEPT project and presented the main findings about health and wellbeing. Sonia Bertolini and Valtenina Goglio presented the main findings about the effects of unsecure labour market position for the Autonomy of Youth in Europe. Dirk Hofäcker presented the short-medium and long-term-socio-economic-consequences of labour market uncertainty. The Symposium was accompanied by a great discussion.

In addition to the symposium, Valentina Goglio and Sonia Bertolini held a presentation on Job Insecurity Among Young People in Europe, in which they pointed out the subjective and objective dimension of job insecurity for young people.

Dirk Hofäcker and Sina Schadow presented the long-term-consequence of insecure labour market positions for Youth in Europe, comparing different types of welfare systems.
