EXCEPT goes to European parliament
22.05.2017

On June 21st EXCEPT project coordinator Marge Unt and young social activist Kristina Mering will present the voice of youth and demonstrate the importance of evidence based decision-making for youth at European parliament.

At the event “Evidence Matters EU” presenters from across the EU will each have the opportunity to speak for one minute about why evidence matters on issues ranging from teaching to fishing and agriculture policy. After the presentations Frans Timmermans, first vice president of the European commission will respond. Other parliamentarians and officials at the event will also have the opportunity to speak.

This event is hosted by Marco Affronte MEP, Julie Girling MEP, Ricardo Serrão Santos MEP and Jan Huitema MEP, a cross-party coalition who want to give citizens a voice.
