Findings from students’ EXCEPT-related research seminar at UDE are now available on our website

A research seminar for master students was organised by EXCEPT team from University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE) . In their work, two UDE students, Heike Schütt and Torge Riebesell, studied savings attitudes of young people regarding their retirement savings in Germany. In their report they write:

“Retirement-related attitudes therefore are meandering in between the two dimensions of flexibility, focus of the present rather than the future, and low responsibility on the one hand, and the ‘pension saving imperative’ on the other hand.”
